Back from the first family holiday in 12 years! My canon came along for the ride this time. Even though my family never want to see another camera again, I managed to get some good shots. This includes a portrait of my 'old man'. Tea. Cigarettes. Grumpy face. Sums him up pretty well!

Live. Laugh. Love (Sneak peek!)
For the last few months I have been working on a very important project based on people who suffer with the debilitating illness M.E (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. Named so after the systems it affects in the human body). Many people will know it as 'that illness that makes you tired', but it is a great deal more than that. I will explain more about this illness at a later point but a huge problem with having M.E, along with its many life affecting symptoms, is its invisible nature and therefore the lack of understanding given to those who suffer with it.
This project is something i have wanted to work on for a very long time as I too suffer with this pain in the butt (to put it nicely!) illness, and have done so since the age of 11. I am now 27.
I don't want to give too much away about the project at the moment as it is only in the beginning stages and still has a very long way to go, but I thought I would post a little sneak peek of what I have been up to.
I have been traveling to different parts of the country visiting people who suffer with M.E. The first person I visited and spent some time with was the lovely Clair from Swindon. Here is a tiny glimpse into my work with her :). Clair lives by the motto 'Live. Laugh. Love'.
More on Clair's story and the project itself to come later (including better scans! :/ ) Hope you like! xx

New Project!
Good news! I will be starting to shoot my new project next Wednesday! Hurrah! It's only taken me 8 years to feel prepared. Better late than never! It is a subject that is very close to my heart and very much a story that needs to be told. Watch this space for updates xx
